Classical Music & Shopping

This tour will take you to visit the stunning Municipal Theatre, located in Cinelândia Square in the old city centre and which continues to stage everything from opera to ballet to symphony concerts.

You will then be able to attend a concert in one of Rio's many churches or museums, playing classical or Brazilian music, such as Bossa Nova, Samba and Chorinho. We will then stop for a light lunch at the trendy Barra Shopping Centre, with over 570 shops, where Cariocas can find all the latest fashion and entertainment, as well as eat, socialise and watch the world go by, all in air-conditioned comfort. There is a whole variety of upmarket shops, from fashionable boutiques to shops selling souvenirs, music, home decoration, books and Brazilian clothes.
