Located in the South Eastern Caribbean Sea, Barbados retains the colonial charm as an ex British colony. The main draw, of course, are the miles of beautiful, sandy beaches and a perfect climate in the winters months that attract thousands of tourists. Culturally, the capital Bridgetown has some well maintained colonial architecture to explore, the island has two attractive gardens (Hunte's Gardens and the Andromeda Botanic Gardens), and the 17th century St Nicholas Abbey. The island is also known for its run; there are several distilleries to enjoy.
