To get you started, most of our tours begin in Beijing to get a true overview of China's imperial, communist and capitalist eras and to walk on the Great Wall (away from the crowds). A four-five hour Bullet Train brings you to Xi'an and the Terracotta Army and its then another train ride to Chengdu and its pandas and tea houses. You might then head to Guilin to explore the amazing karst landscape and rice terraces, followed by the train to Hong Kong. Or instead a three night Yangtze River cruise, before flying on to Shanghai. Yunnan, Tibet and other lesser-visited areas can easily be worked into your itinerary and all hotels and excursions can be chosen to suit you.
