Cross the canopy walkways and observe beautiful butterflies in this biodiverse conservation area.

Selvatura Park is a conservation project, located in Monteverde, with a wonderful Treetop Walkways and Butterfly Garden. The 1.9 mile long walkways are once of the best ways to observe the Cloud Forest Canopy, with the advantage of being able to take your time to observe each of the forest levels. There is a system of eight different bridges, each different in length and height, traversed in approximately 1½ to 2 hours.

The Butterfly Garden is one of the world's largest live butterfly exhibitions and hosts more than 15 different species of butterflies (including the spectacular Morpho butterfly), from all over Costa Rica. Experience the beauty of indoor waterfalls and admire more than 60 different species of tropical plants, as well as hummingbirds. The guided tour takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
