Get closer to wildlife and gain a birds-eye view of the rainforest by ascending a canopy tower.

Our preferred lodges in the Ecuadorian Amazon are all within easy reach of a canopy observation tower, generally 35 to 45 metres high. Ascending these towers afford breathtaking views across the jungle, stopping on the way to appreciate the different levels of the rainforest. Given the difficulty of spotting movement so high up in the dense canopy from ground level, they also provide an excellent way to get closer to the exotic birds and mammals which make their homes up here, including toucans, parrots, several species of monkeys and the three-toed sloth.
