Explore the Amazon's incredible biodiversity on a range of jungle walks, led by expert naturalist guides.

Our preferred lodges in the Ecuadorian Amazon all offer expert guided walks through the surrounding terra firme forest, designed to showcase the extraordinary biodiversity of this part of the rainforest. The walks follow established trails that take you up close to the huge variety of exotic plants, colourful flowers and giant trees. The guides will demonstrate the ways that they have adapted to life in the jungle and also help you spot mammals, birds, insects and more. Some trails lead to isolated lakes, others focus on the local people of the region and how the jungle dictates their lifestyle, others are also combined with trips in motorized canoes.
