• Avianca's Economy Class offers a comfortable and consistent experience across its fleet, whether flying short domestic routes or long-haul international flights.

• Short & Medium-Haul Routes: Avianca operates Economy Class on Embraer 190 and Airbus A318, A319, A320, and A321 aircraft. Seat pitch ranges from 30–32 inches, with seat widths of 17–18 inches. Short domestic routes may also be served by turboprop aircraft, configured entirely in Economy Class.

• Long-Haul Routes: For long-haul international flights, including the London Heathrow–Bogotá route, Avianca uses the Airbus A330-200 and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Seats feature a pitch of 32 inches, width of 17 inches, and 5 inches of recline. Each seat is equipped with a 9-inch personal screen offering Audio Video on Demand (AVOD), including movies, TV series, and documentaries

• Meal Service: Complimentary snacks and beverages are provided on short & medium-haul flights. On long-haul flights, Avianca offers full meal service, including breakfast, lunch, or dinner depending on the time of departure, along with a selection of beverages, including unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks up to 90 minutes before landing.

• Seat Selection: Seats can be selected in advance for a fee, depending on the fare type, or free of charge 24 hours before departure via online check-in.

Key Differences vs Standard Economy:

•    Located at the front of the cabin (rows 4–14), allowing priority disembarkation.
•    Extra legroom (approx. 31″ pitch vs. tighter regular Economy seating).
•    Reclining seats with adjustable headrest 
•    USB power outlets (Type A & C) at every Seat Plus seat (not available in basic Economy).

•    Fleet & Seating: Narrow-body Airbus A320 family aircraft used mainly on short and medium-haul routes. Seat Plus offers about 31″ pitch (79 cm) and 18″ width (46 cm), with recline and enhanced comfort compared to standard Economy.
•    In-flight Entertainment: No seatback screens. Passengers can stream films, TV, music, and reading materials by connecting to the free Avianca On Air Wi-Fi portal on their own device.
•    Power & Device Support: Each Seat Plus has USB Type A and C charging ports, plus a device holder for phones and tablets.
•    Dining: Same service as regular Economy – Buy on Board on short flights, with complimentary hot meals served on longer flights (per Avianca’s standard Economy meal policy).

• Insignia by Avianca – Premium Business Class: It is the airline's premium Business Class offering, designed to provide an elevated travel experience on select international routes. This exclusive service is currently available on flights between Bogotá and major European cities.

• Insignia flatbed seating, which reclines fully to 180 degrees, offering passengers complete privacy and ample space for both work and rest. Each seat features a 16-inch integrated entertainment screen, providing access to a wide selection of movies, TV series, and music.
