Jorge Chávez International Airport serves as the hub for various airlines, including Latam and Avianca Peru.

From the UK passengers can fly non-stop (April to October) with British Airways from London Gatwick airport. Also, from with Iberia and Air Europa via Madrid, KLM via Amsterdam, Air France via Paris and Avianca via Bogota. Several domestic and regional flights are available to connect from there with other regional carriers.

The airport offers 30 minutes free Wi-Fi available in the gates area through “FreeAeropuertoLima” network. A premium service is also available for a fee through “PremiumAeropuertoLima”.

Road access to the airport is via Elmer Faucett Avenue, which links to several to all parts of the city. The estimated journey is 50 minutes in moderate traffic.

Airport Express Lima offers an affordable mode to arrive at the airport. There are 29 departures per day between Miraflores and the airport. For more information click here.

 

Connections:

The airport comprises a single terminal building with separated sections for national and international flights. Transferring within the terminal:

From international flight to domestic flight, passengers need to clear customs and immigration, collect their luggage and proceed to check-in.

 

From international flight to international flight, passengers need to clear security and proceed to their departure gate which is located on the same floor (there is no Customs for International to International transfers).

 

LATAM has a Flight Connections counter located on the first floor, near Gate 17.

 

From domestic flight to domestic flight, passengers need to their luggage and proceed to check-in.

 

It takes approximately 15-40 minutes to walk the length of the terminal.

 

 

Irrespective of the class of service passengers are flying, there are airport lounges that can be accessible by paying at the door, booking a day lounge pass or through a lounge membership program such as Priority Pass.  In this guide, we give you an overview of all lounges existing at Lima Jorge Chavez airport.

  • Caral VIP Lounge: Airside - 2nd Floor, after Passport Control and Security turn right and proceed approximately 50 meters. The lounge is located between the H.   • Sumaq VIP Lounge: Location: Airside - after Security, pass Gate 17, turn left and walk 20 meters down the corridor to the lounge entrance located on the left-hand side.
