Central Bali is dominated by dramatic mountains and temples and the island’s highest peak, Gunung Agung at over 3,000 metres. Eastern Bali is a remote region, ideal for trekking or cycling in the forested hills with waterfalls, bridges and cliffs to navigate. West Bali National Park offers clifftop temples, snorkelling in coral reefs and authentic fishing villages.
