Take the ferry across the waters to the native woodlands and exotic flora and fauna of Victoria Island.
Navigating Nahuel Huapi's crystal clear waters we will reach Victoria Island, where centennial cypresses and evergreen beech trees and both native and exotic flora and fauna will greet us. We step into the forest, on designated trails, to discover its natural beauty and learn about the island's history. We will follow these trails for about two hours; there are no significant slopes and this is low impact hiking. If we are quiet, we might spot some deer or pheasant. We will arrive eventually at a beach where we will enjoy a picnic-lunch. Another part of the woodland remains to be discovered and we do so on the way back to the boat. From Puerto Anchorena pier another 30 minute trip will take us to the Quetrihue Peninsula and the famous myrtle forest, unique in the world, with centenary specimens.
