Scale one of the towering trees of the Amazon to get a truly birds-eye view of the sprawling rainforest.
To be able to better study the canopies of the rainforest, where most wildlife activity actually takes place, scientists have developed a safe and easy way to climb the enormous trees of the Amazon Basin. Guests too can also have this experience, using the special harness and climbing system, to gain a truly unique perspective on the jungle, with surprisingly little effort required. This canopy climbing activity is available to guests of the Posada Amazonas and Refugios Amazonas and is a wonderful way to appreciate the different layers of the rainforest as you ascend and then enjoy 360 panoramic views at the top.
