Learn all about the entire coffee production process and enjoy a full sensory guided tasting session.

The Vargas Ruiz family have been pioneers in Costa Rican coffee production since 1931. During the course of this tour you will have the chance to discover their story, learn about the surrounding area and see the whole production process in action. You will see how coffee is picked, milled, ground and roasted and then have the chance to taste different varieties under the guidance of one of their experts.

The coffee plantation is best combined with the nearby Poas Volcano and the exuberant La Paz Waterfall Gardens.
