India is blessed with 106 national parks, offering sanctuary to an enormous array of wildlife, the most famous being the magnificent Bengal Tiger.

Ranthambore National Park is perhaps the best known of India's national parks, located in in Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan on the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range. It is one of the finest places to view wild animals, particularly the Bengal Tiger. The park area is vast, covering an area of about 400 square kilometres and gained the protection of conservation initiative "Project Tiger" in 1974; it has been recognised as a national Park since 1981.

Bandhavgarh National Park is located in the central state of Madhya Pradesh,  is known for having the highest density of Bengal Tigers in all of India’s National Parks, as well as beautiful scenic drives in a well-protected natural environment. A former hunting ground for the Maharaja of Rewa, the park is over 100 square km in size, with a large buffer zone. You will travel through forests, swamps, meadows and rocky hills, ideal terrain for Royal Bengal Tigers to roam freely. You may also observe white tigers, nilgai, chausingha, chital, langurs, monkeys, muntjac, wild boars, and jackals gathering around water holes or lurking in the ancient caves.

Sariska Tiger Reserve is a national park nestled in the Aravali Hills, in Rajasthan, about 3 hours drive from Jaipur. Here, explore the mountains, grasslands, dry deciduous forests and cliffs which span over 800 square kilometres. Discover by 4 x 4 safari the protected bengal tiger, plus jungle cats, rhesus macaque, sambhar, chital and wild boar. Observe a wide variety of of bird species including crested serpent eagles, peregrine falcons, Indian pond heron, white-throated kingfisher and rose-ringed parakeets. You can also visit the 5th century Neelkanth temple and Pandupol Hanuman Temple set amidst a scenic waterfall.

Nagarhole National Park (also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park) is located in Karnataka, 94km from Mysore. Set against the backdrop of the Brahamagiri Mountains, the park is covered with sandalwood and teak trees and the Kabini River meanders through jungle. Here, observe tigers, Asian Elephants and many species of birds.
