San Miguel is a beautiful city, close to the capital, with classic colonial buildings and a towering cathedral.

Miguela Allende is about three hours located from Mexico City and is much loved by Mexicans and visitors alike. The walled city is UNESCO World Heritage Site, whose well-preserved centre offers beautiful gardens, Baroque and Classical colonial buildings, a towering Cathedral and the historic home of the Independence hero Ignacio Allende.

Many artists live and lived here. Sit in the main square to enjoy a coffee and watch the world go by. There are many restaurants, cafes and art shops to enjoy and explore. There is a and very good are market offering local paintings, textiles, sculptures, garden furniture and, among others, only a few minutes from the town .
